How did you get into baseball?
“I started out playing very young, my Dad got me into the game and I realized I could play the game very well.”

How has your game developed from high school to college at this point?
“The mental part of my game took off because in high school it was just about coming to the field and having a good time. In college especially as a freshman I had to start learning and understanding situations particularly with hitting, just knowing how many guys are on base and where to place the ball if I have to.”

How do you prepare for a game?
“I don’t really have much of a routine; I like to get to the ball park early for batting practice. But most times I will stay after the game when we are at home to take more batting practice. I always like to keep hitting.”

What are you going to work on this summer to improve your game?
“Well now I am just going to work on all parts of my game. With wood bats and the competitive pitching in this league I need to stay on top of my hitting, and I feel I will have enough opportunities at third base over the summer to work on my fielding as well.”

What is one specific memory you can remember from your playing days?
“Hitting a home run in the Tennessee regional playoff game was definitely one of my highlights to this point.”

Do you enjoy any other sports other than baseball?
“Yes, I like golfing and fishing, both relax me very much.”

If you could describe yourself in one word, what would that word be?
“Competitive I guess, that’s a tough question, but that maybe the one word that fits me as a player.”

Where do you see yourself as a ball player in the next five years?
“Playing minor league ball somewhere. I think that would be great if I could make it to that level.”
